Wadebridge town centre which is just a short drive or leisurely walk from the apartment is home to a host of pubs, restaurants, shops, 2 screen cinema and a sports centre with indoor swimming pool.
The famous “Camel Trail”, runs through Wadebridge providing lovely walks by the River Camel. You can hire a bicycle, go to Padstow or follow the river towards Camelford these are very popular with both walkers and cyclists. At the mouth of the River Camel there are fantastic long sandy beach walks all the way to Daymler Bay. Have a pleasant day out and sample some fine fine fayre whether it be in one of the tea rooms or pubs. You can also catch a passenger ferry across the river to Padstow (a popular destination and busy in the high season) If eating out in Padstow, why not book a table at the famous Rick Stein’s Restaurant. Places to visit include The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, National Maritime Museum and The Roseland Peninsula and The port of Fowey to name a few. |
