A canal boat holiday from Claymoore Narrowboats is the perfect way to unwind. Making your way slowly through the British countryside in your floating home, sometimes known as a barge, you have the freedom to go as you please. No rush, no pressure, just mile after mile of beautiful canals to explore. A GREAT CHOICE OF ROUTES
From our holiday base you can choose from many cruising routes. From a relaxing trip to Chester and back, perfect for beginners, to the popular Cheshire and Four Counties cruising rings we can cater for all needs. Our location in the UK is perfect for overseas visitors as we are only 30 minutes drive from Manchester International Airport.

OUR CANAL HIRE BOATS
All of our boats have a full size gas cooker, electric refrigerator, electric lighting, showers and gas fired central heating. Our boats are also equipped with a stereo radio/cassette player or CD player, a colour television and a 12v cigar lighter socket for charging mobile phones, camcorders and digital cameras.

The boats in our fleet have comfortable upholstery with high quality foam cushioning. Inner sprung mattresses feature on the fitted doubles on Moore Hall and Abbey class boats and on all beds in the sleeping cabins on Norton Priory.
All of our canal narrowboats come fully equipped with linen and bedding materials, a full range of kitchen utensils and essential boat equipment such as mooring stakes, ropes, boat hook and of course windlasses for working the locks. Every boat in our canal fleet is fitted with safety equipment including a fire extinguisher and fire blanket, floatation ring and a first aid box.

For children and those nervous around water we can supply a life jacket. We are also able to install safety netting around the stern of the boat thus keeping children in an enclosed area when onboard.

Our boats have been independently graded by Visit Britain and have gained between 3 and 5 stars. All of our holiday prices include fuel, gas and insurance and there are no other charges to pay.

SHORT BREAKS AND DAY BOAT HIRE AVAILABLE
A number of our canal boats are available for short and midweek breaks, perfect for a few days relaxation or as an introduction to a canal holiday. Our day boat can be hired for groups of up to 12 people and you will be surprised at how little it costs for a day out when the cost is split.

CANAL BOAT HIRE
Enjoy a day out along the Bridgewater or Trent Mersey Canals in our purpose built day boats. Designed for all weathers, both the Mock Turtle and Gryphon accommodates up to twelve people, allowing them to enjoy a fabulous day out in the English countryside. Our day boat provides comfortable enclosed seating in the main and outer saloons. The outer saloon has removable side windows to allow the sun in during good weather and provides protection for rainy days. From as little as £9.16 per person when booked by a party of twelve there are few other days out in Britain that offer you such value for money.

All of our prices are fully inclusive of fuel, gas and insurance. The price you see on the website is the final price you will pay and includes the new VAT rate of 15%.
