For over 35 years holidays have been enjoyed at Cutkive Wood, many people returning year after year to experience this unique rural location surrounded by Cornwall’s beautiful countryside. You are invited to treat yourself, to discover and share this idyllic setting.

Nestling in the heart of a peaceful and lovely country estate, a Cornwall County Wildlife Site, there are six cedar clad holiday lodges. All are well equipped so that you can make the most of your holiday. Set apart in mature gardens to provide some privacy you will have your own patio, picnic table with bench seats and lovely views – perfect for just whiling away a few hours. Relaxing on the edge of the bluebell woods in a secluded position, you’ll be able to appreciate the beautiful surrounding Cornish countryside.

• Two Bedroom Lodges; sleeps 1 – 4 ; (double glazed bungalow style), entrance hall, sitting/dining room, open plan fitted kitchen, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with hand-basin, bath and shower, separate wc.. Sleeps 4 plus cot.

• Three Bedroom Lodges; sleeps 1 – 6 ; (double glazed single storey chalet style), inner hall, sitting/dining room, open plan fitted kitchen, double bedroom, twin bedroom, third bedroom (children’s bunk-beds), bathroom with hand-basin, wc., continental style bath with shower. Please note: slightly smaller than usual doorways. Sleeps 6 (4 adults max. plus 2 children). Cot only accommodated by arrangement.

• All Lodges; own parking, private patio with picnic table and rural views, mature gardens, digital tv with Freeview, fridge-freezer, microwave and electric or gas cooker. For added comfort, when required, there are convector heaters and either a night storage heater or a ‘log effect’ stove. All beds have duvets and freshly laundered linen is provided.

• More Facilities; walk the woodland trails; help with the ‘farm’ and smaller animals; natural meadow for strolling and play; big play area; laundry with washing machine and tumble drier; cots and highchairs available.

Watch the deer roam. There is a wealth of fascinating wildlife, a myriad of woodland and field flora and so many native birds including owls and birds of prey right on your doorstep.

You will find that you are ideally situated for coast and countryside and for year round holidays, there is so much to see and do in Cornwall and neighbouring Devon - memorable beaches, wonderful coasts, inspiring gardens including Eden, theme attractions, historic gems, walks on the moors. You’ll be spoilt for choice.

Everyone can come and help with our ‘farm’ animals; you can even milk the goats.

Ideal for all ages; the young can play in the meadow, on the pitch ‘n’ putt course and have fun in the big play area, the not so young can amble through the meadow and woods and relax on the patio just letting the world drift by.

Dogs are welcome.

Nearby attractions include Crealy Adventure Park, Dairyland, Morwellham Quay, the National Marine Aquarium, Porfell Wildlife Park, the Monkey Sanctuary, Flambards, The Camel Trail, Carnglaze Slate Caverns, Newquay Zoo, Jamaica Inn on Bodmin Moor, the Museum of Smuggling, canoeing down the Tamar, National Maritime Museum, Blue Reef Aquarium, Bodmin Jail (reputedly haunted), Tamar Donkey Park, historic Plymouth, National Trust properties include Lanhydrock and Cotehele and there is a host of gardens such as the Eden Project, Heligan and Trevarno. There are many many more, not forgetting both the spectacular north and south coasts where you will find Looe, Polperro, Tintagel, Port Isaac and Boscastle.
