We offers three luxury self-catering holiday cottages in Middlesmoor at the head of upper Nidderdale near Pateley Bridge in the Yorkshire Dales.
Commanding unrivalled panoramic views, Middlesmoor is situated at the head of picturesque Upper Nidderdale and offers unrivalled peace and tranquillity in this area of outstanding natural beauty. It is ideally placed to explore the stunning Nidderdale Valley (an Area of Outstanding Beauty), and beyond, on foot, bicycle or car. THE COTTAGES HOLMELEA COTTAGE (sleeps 6) is newly built in traditional Dales style and is beautifully located and benefits from a king size four poster bed, whirlpool bath, the ultimate in luxury bathing, and a large conservatory ideal for relaxing in. THE OLD JOINERS SHOP (sleeps 6) is a traditional stone built cottage which was once a joiners shop which has been completely renovated, modernised and refurbished. SAWMILL COTTAGE (sleeps 5) is a traditional stone built cottage which has been recently renovated, modernised and refurbished yet retaining its original character. All cottages have fully-fitted kitchens with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer plus TV and video players and are all furnished to a high standard. Bed linen and towels are provided and all heating is supplied in rent. One pet is allowed (extra pet £10.00). Private parking outside all the cottages. The Cottages are situated within walking distance of the local pub in the pretty village of Middlesmoor. This is marvelous walking and bird watching country - the Nidderdale Way can be walked from the doorstep, Scar House Reservoir is located at the head of the dale with level walking and the National Trust properties of Fountains Abbey and Studley Deer Park are close by, as is Brimham Rocks with its acres of stunning rock formations. Visit the local visitor attractions of Stump Cross Caverns and Howstean Gorge, with its spectacular 70 ft deep limestone gorge and an excellent restaurant.
